Job Description
A healthcare organization in Alabama is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Critical Care/CCU team in a full-time inpatient role. This position focuses on the management and coordination of care for acutely ill and medically complex adult patients in the hospital setting. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to support patient care from admission through discharge.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced medical knowledge, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced critical care environment and demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills.

Schedule

  • Day Shift
  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient critical care management for adult patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans
  • Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor clinical progress
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
  • Support quality and patient safety initiatives
  • Maintain professional competency and participate in ongoing education


Required Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree
  • Current licensure in the state of Alabama
  • Ability to communicate effectively during emergency situations
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency and typing skills
  • Manual dexterity necessary for clinical responsibilities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in critical care, ICU, CCU, or hospitalist settings
  • Experience managing complex adult inpatient population
  • Familiarity with evidence-based clinical practice standards
