Work Arrangement: Onsite

Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 / yr

Position Type: Backfill.

Relocation: Nationwide relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

The Role


As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will lead projects and processes of diverse scope, operating with a high degree of independence and limited supervision. You will play a critical role in establishing methods for the maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor and coach, reviewing the work of lower-level professionals to ensure operational excellence across the facility.







Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage complex projects independently, overseeing end-to-end processes to improve facility efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively support and drive automation and lean activities to optimize production.
  • Operational Analysis: Conduct comprehensive studies involving cost, inventory, production control, and human factors to develop facility modification plans.
  • Facility Planning: Collaborate closely with manufacturing and facilities engineers on the design and revision of operating methods.
  • Stakeholder Management: Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain and support relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and quality reviews for junior engineering staff.






Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Education:

  • Standard Requirement: Minimum of 5 years of related industrial engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced Degree Option: 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or a PhD.
  • Industry Background: At least 5 years of experience within the industry.




Technical Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge in facility planning and design.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse scopes of work independently.
  • Strong background in human factors and production control studies.
